Temple University’s professor in piano, Maria del Pico Taylor and Centre Theater Music School Director Steve Kramer are The Rachmaninoff Duo! They’ll be joined by cello professor Jeffrey Solow’s students and chamber music ensembles will perform master works at the Centre Theater’s second FIRST SUNDAY event, developed by Steve Kramer. Next performance coming this Sunday, April 2!

We’re ‘springing’ into our new season

Blak Kanvus Pisces Party

With or without the snow, we’re ready to get things off to a great start here at the Centre Theater. We had the first Classical Music in the County Seat afternoon of chamber music and it was a rousing success. The next one will be held April 2, as we will be hosting them the first Sunday of every month. We’re bringing Blak Kanvus back to the stage this Saturday, and we have our first Comedy Night of the season coming up on March 25! And if that’s no enough, “Right Behind” will be here in April and “Chicago” will be here in June! And, if all of that isn’t enough, check out our  Centre Theater brochure for details on our regular programs and to see how you can help support the arts in #MontcoPA!

You do not want to miss this event!

Black History Month at Centre Theater

On display will be a 100-year-old uniform from Norristown’s first black police officer, along with a replica of the Rosetta Stone and a variety of other artifacts from organizer Howard Scott’s personal collection. Guest speakers, live music, door prizes and more will round out an incredible day celebrating the history of America.
