We’re very excited for the new Centre Theater Music School, which is up and running, and growing! A couple of young enthusiasts can be seen at the keyboard above.
A very special thanks go out to J.P. Mascaro & Sons, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa V. Ferman and Vance Community Partners for their generous donations, which are making the music school a reality.
Thanks also to Mike Gretz of Gretz Beer for his generous donation, and to state representatives Mike Vereb and Matt Bradford, as well as Montgomery County Norristown Public Library Executive Director Kathleen Arnold Yerger for her personal donation to the cause!
We’re in the midst of planning a winter fundraiser for the second week in December where the public will be treated to performances by students of the Centre Theater Music School.
There are a lot of things going on at the theater behind the scenes that are exciting as well.
Thanks to a lot of people we will soon be making announcements about events and new tenants in the building at 208 DeKalb St. in Norristown.
We’ll leave you with a very hearty Thank You to all who have shown faith in the arts and a special affinity for the Centre Theater.
